Do You have a Nursery?
We have a clean, loving nursery for your children. We use a remote notification system and keep the building secure during service.
Which Translation of the Bible do you use?
We believe the King James Version is the preserved Word of God for the English-speaking people and best protects the fundamental doctrines of the Bible.
Do you have anything for our children?
We have Master Clubs and Junior Church for children on Sundays, with a Sunday Teen Class and Wednesday Teen Bible Study every week.
Are you independent?
Community Baptist Church is an Independent Baptist Church. That simply means that we are not a member of any council, convention, or national organization.
What style of music do you have?
Our music is mostly Southern Gospel, along with some choruses, and we still sing the great hymns of the faith! You will be blessed by the music of our Adult Choir and specials.
Dr. Mark Agan
I am a husband, father, grandfather, and pastor. Most importantly, I am a child of the King of kings.
Born the youngest son of Champ & Dianne Agan, my dad pastored most of my life. The Lord called me to preach when I was fourteen years old, and ever since then, I have counted it a privilege to stand and preach God’s Word.
I married the love of my life, Beth, in the winter of 1989. Not only has she been a great wife to me, a great mother to our two sons, and a wonderful grandmother, but she has also been my right arm in the ministry through the years.
Born and raised in North Carolina, I have lived here my entire life. After trusting Jesus Christ at an early age, I surrendered to preach at nine years old and have been involved in some form of ministry ever since. In 2014, I began serving as the youth pastor at Community Baptist Church.
I have been blessed to be married to my wife, Amy, for 17 years. We have three children, all of whom blessed us through adoption. I pray that any part of my ministry whether preaching, books, or music will lift up the name of Christ first, and then encourage the hearts and lives of others.
